The activation of surgical method of gastroesophageal refl ux disease with the use of Nissen or Dor surgical methods is complicated by postoperative dysphagia because of the absence of information about the state of esophageal peristalsis before operation. The method of estimation of esophageal peristalsis is expensive. The paper presents the description of simple, cheap method using radioscopy with the fi lling of oesophagus by barium sulfate suspension in the Trendelenburg position. This method is alternative for multiple channel perfusive manometry.
