The article presents the results of experimental research on choice of method and the development of methods to quantify phylloquinone (vitamin K1) in plants. Justified by the advantage of chromatographic method (reversed-phase HPLC) before determining the spectrophotometric phylloquinone of complex biologically active substances of plants. In accordance with the recommendations of the International Conference on harmonization of technical requirements for registration of pharmaceuticals for human use (ICH) was a validation of the developed method in terms of specificity, linearity, accuracy and repeatability. The proposed method is specific, linear, repeatable and accurate. For example the Officinal species of raw material, which content of vitamin K1, proved the versatility of application in the analysis of plant facilities.
