Summary: Diseases of the digestive organs occupy an important place among other kinds of diseases, which dictates the need to optimize the early active revealing of sick people or having the risk of developing the disease. This goal can be achieved through the introduction of the daily practical activities of doctors of modern information technologies computerized screening, and simplify the task of territorial analysis of the prevalence of pathology, through the use of geographic information systems. The creation of regional medical-geographical and medico-environmental maps and atlases is a perspective direction of preventive medicine. This method meets the requirements of the precautionary approach in health care. Mapping will help to identify the causal relationships between the indicators of the territorially-distributed factors and responses in the form of health indicators, to evaluate the medical, environmental and other risks. As a result, we can optimize healthcare resources. The final goal of the study will be planning and determination of the priority directions of medical aid for areas with an increased incidence rate.
